What can I create a PDF from?
From Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, images, a saved webpage, or multiple PDFs. Just drop in the file: the page detects its type and opens the right tool with the file. Or write a new document directly here.
Do I need Word or other software?
No. The writing area runs in your browser: paragraphs, headings, bold and italic text, colors, font sizes, lists, alignment, nine fonts, tables with colored rows, inline images, QR codes from a link or text, page size, and margins. That is enough to write and format letters, termination notices, authorization letters, receipts, invoices, price lists, and information sheets.
How do I have AI create a PDF?
Select “Create with AI” from the list at the top and describe what you need in one sentence - for example, “Invitation to a 60th birthday party on October 12, festive design.” There are two options. “Text & Style” writes a document with headings, lists, and tables; it remains editable text on the page. “As Image” has an image model draw the entire page: it looks more designed, but its text becomes part of the image and can no longer be edited. Both use AI credits, and the cost is shown before you click.
How much does AI cost, and do I need to sign up?
You do not need to sign up. Every browser gets free daily credit; a written document uses only a small fraction, while a drawn page uses much more. Your balance and the estimate appear in the AI section directly above the button. Without AI, you can use the tool as usual: writing, templates, and saving are free.
Are accented letters and special characters displayed correctly?
Yes. The selected font is embedded in the PDF; all nine support European languages. Only emoji are not displayed.
Does my text stay on my device?
You never upload a file here. While writing, everything stays in your browser, and your draft is saved there so it is still available on your next visit. Two things leave your device: When you save, the text is sent once to our server, which creates the PDF and deletes it immediately afterward - this produces better results, with clean line breaks and embedded fonts. And when you use AI, your description is sent to our AI service. This does not happen unless you use AI.
Can I create a blank PDF?
Yes. Leave the page blank, choose the page size and margins, and save. This creates a PDF with a blank page, for example as a placeholder, divider page, or for printing and writing on by hand. If you want lines on the page, choose one of the paper templates in the next question.
Is there lined or graph paper to print?
Yes, at the top of the template list: “Lined Paper” with 8 mm line spacing, “Graph Paper” with 5 mm squares, “Music Staff Paper” with twelve staves, and “Dot Grid Paper” with 5 mm dot spacing for sketches and bullet journals. Each template fills an A4 page to the edges and is saved as a PDF that you can print as often as you like. For different spacing, multiple pages, or a “Name:” header, use the Guide on the homepage: “lined paper with 7 mm spacing, three pages” is enough.
Do I need a PDF Creator or PDF Maker?
No, you do not need to install anything. This page is the PDF Creator: write online in your browser, including on a phone or tablet, and save the result as a PDF file.
Can I create a PDF form?
A form to print and fill out by hand: yes, using headings, lines, and text fields. The tool does not create fillable fields you can tap on screen.
