Frequently asked questions
How do I save a webpage as a PDF?
Paste the URL into the address field and click “Load.” Our server opens the page in a browser, briefly waits for additional content to load, and converts it to a PDF. Text stays text, links remain clickable.
What is the difference between print view and “As shown in the browser”?
Print view creates pages in your selected format with page breaks, like “Print to PDF.” “As shown in the browser” creates one long page at screen width, just as you see the webpage on your computer - like a screenshot, but with real text.
Which pages cannot be accessed?
Pages behind a login, because our server does not have your session, and pages that block access by programs. Cookie notices appear in the PDF as shown on the page. In these cases, save the page as an HTML file in your browser and drop it here.
Are images and styles included?
For a web address, yes: Chromium loads the page with everything included. For a dropped HTML file, only what is in the file itself or saved in its folder is included; content loaded from the internet is missing.
Which format should I choose?
A4 is the standard in Europe. Choose Letter if the PDF will be printed in the US.
