Your file stays on our server for editing during the session. It is automatically deleted after 60 minutes of inactivity - the “Done” button deletes it immediately.
Good to know: A PDF is a finished print without text reflow. You can easily change words, numbers, and lines, but if a paragraph gets much longer, the rest does not shift automatically. For larger changes, convert the file with PDF to Word and continue editing there. The editor suggests this when space gets tight.

Frequently asked questions
Are these real form fields?
Yes. The fields are written into the PDF as form fields (AcroForm). Acrobat Reader, Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Mac Preview, and the Files app on iPhone display them for filling out, and entries can be saved.
What field types are available?
Single-line text fields, multiline text fields, and checkboxes. Each field has a name you can change and can be marked as required. Dropdown lists and calculations are not available yet.
Can I share the form without fields?
Yes. When downloading, choose whether fields stay fillable or are permanently flattened into the page, for example for a completed copy that no one should be able to change.
I don't have a PDF yet. How do I start?
Choose a template (registration, questionnaire, consent form) or a blank page, or describe your form in one sentence: AI creates it with headings, labels, and ready-made fields, then you can change anything that does not fit in the editor. The AI option costs credits, templates are free.
Is my file uploaded?
Yes, as with “Edit PDF”: the file is kept in its own folder on our server while you edit it and deleted afterward.
